In 2019, the historic print shop building in downtown Austin began its next chapter as an upscale cocktail lounge. We preserved the raw industrial character while introducing rich dark green tones, polished brass fittings, and low candlelight throughout the space.
Every architectural detail honours the spirit of traditional print craftsmanship and vintage cocktail culture. We maintained the original spatial layout, creating a dimly lit evening retreat where hand-carved ice and aged spirits receive unhurried focus.
Weekend Sessions
Live Jazz Performances
Every Friday and Saturday night, live jazz ensembles take the stage at The Velvet Fox. The natural acoustics of the former print house complement soft saxophone and piano melodies, establishing an atmospheric rhythm for the room.
Guests enjoy an intimate seating arrangement near the musicians, creating an engaging evening destination where house-crafted classic cocktails meet soulful live music in downtown Austin.
